This set mainly consists of Eriko Tamura as Mai, but also reveals a few interesting Lord Piccolo (James Marsters) images as well. These are the only new set pictures available at the moment, but if we get sent some more we will post them. Check out all the new DB Evolution set pictures after the break!

For those that missed out seeing this huge event live last year (in which we covered) can now check out a few clips of the premiere. The world premiere was held in Japan and was able to be seen live via MSN and Yahoo. The entire main cast showed up (Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Emmy Rossum, Chow Yun Fat, Jamie Chung, Joon park, Eriko Tamura and also the director James Wong) and the audience was filled with fans wearing Goku’s signature orange gi. Sadly these are the only clips available at the moment. If anyone else recorded the event themselves and would like to contribute them, please do so in the comments.

About a year back James Marsters told 411 Mania that the sequel has been green lit. This year he now says he has yet to hear any official word on the sequel to Dragonball Evolution, but hears rumors they might start up again.
Al Norton: Is there any word on a Dragonball sequel?
James Marsters: I haven’t heard anything officially. I’ve heard there are rumors we might start up again but nothing official so I am in ignorance but always at the ready.

Almost exactly 8 years ago back in March 2002, we heard an announcement regarding a possible live action movie based on Dragon Ball Z. Quote from IGN :
“Wanna see Goku kicking some butt on the big screen? It could happen. Fox just purchased the film rights to DragonBall and plans are already underway to develop a live-action franchise based on the insanely popular anime property.”

Enterbay has finally revealed their Bulma figure (Emmy Rossum) from Dragonball Evolution. This item will be available towards the end of this month. Click here to check out more pictures of Emmy Rossum as Bulma from Enterbay.
So I believe this should just about do it for these figures. It took Enterbay long enough, but I will say their work is amazing. Go here to purchase the Goku and Lord Piccolo figures directly from Enterbay. Be on the lookout for Bulma towards the end of this month.

Sci Fi UK was looking for specific questions to ask James Marsters (Lord Piccolo in Dragonball Evolution) at last weekends SFX Weekender. I sent in a question regarding the planned sequel to Dragonball, but it seems they might have stayed away from any Dragonball talk at this event. Here is a portion of a Q&A session during SFX Weekender. Now I am not sure if this was the same Q&A Sci Fi UK planned or not. According to their Twitter page, their interview with James Marsters may be exclusive. I will report any other details when available.
Also, James will be appearing at the following events in the next couple months : Supanova Expo 2010, FedCon XIX 2010, Phoenix Comicon and Philadelphia Comic Con. I may attend the Phoenix Comic Con, but that event is a little over three months away. Special guests for that event include : James Marsters, Ray Park and Mike Mcfarland (Master Roshi from FUNimation DBZ).
UPDATE : The interview from Sci Fi UK has been released and as expected James was not asked anything Dragonball related. If you wish to read the full interview then click here.

It would appear that Dragonball Evolution has hit the TV set a week early. Cinemax is now showing the film at various times today. So I think it is now safe to say that this film is no longer making any revenue. According to The Numbers, Dragonball brought in a total gross revenue of $62,880,241. With a domestic theater revenue of $9,362,785, international theater revenue of $48,865,675 and total domestic DVD sales of $4,651,781 (international sales is unknown at the moment). Please note that the domestic DVD sales could be much higher since it is only an estimate given during a certain period of time. Another factor that could mean sales are higher than the estimate is that the Blu-ray sales are not included.

A new picture of Piccolo has released online. But all we have is speculation on whether or not it is from Dragonball Reborn or just a late released promo from DB Evolution. But it does remind me of the village scene in the beginning of Evolution. But why would they release more promo shots (now of all times)?
