Rumor – Dragonball Evolution 2 Announced?

In a recent convention James Marsters was asked if a new live action Dragon Ball movie would be made anytime soon. He simply replied that he enjoyed Dragonball Evolution and would love for a sequel, and also noted with the new animated movie releasing soon (Battle of Gods) 20th Century FOX did inquire the cast about returning for Dragonball 2. However we can’t find the original source so take this as a fake. It should also be noted that the entire cast are signed onto two more Dragonball movies after DBE.

Only time will tell at this point, would you prefer a reboot or be happy with an official sequel to Dragonball Evolution?

Rumor: DBZ 2013 Will Be CGI

There have been rumors floating around that the upcoming DragonBall Z movie will be done in CGI format to replicate a live action film. This movie is set to release March 30th 2013 and takes place during the 10 year gap between the defeat on Majin Buu and the moment Goku meets Uub at the World Martial Arts Tournament.

However it should be noted that Tadayoshi Yamamuro (DBZ animator) has been confirmed to be the animation supervisor for this movie, so it is only logical to think this movie will be animated like the rest of the series. Most of the rumors stating it will be done in CGI have most likely originated from the teaser trailer that shows off realistic landscapes.
