Last year we reported that a Shonen Jump themed park was in the process of being built. It would include Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Naruto themes. Bandai has now revealed several attractions involving this indoor theme park. Here’s a few of the Dragon Ball attractions.
“Let’s Unleash It! Kamehameha!!”
The player stands in front of an interactive screen and defeats enemies alongside Goku with the Kamehameha attack. The attraction costs 800 yen (US$8).
“Let’s Get It! Dragon Ball!!”
The player is given a Dragon Radar to help them search for the Dragon Balls hidden in the area. Those who collect all seven can call upon the dragon god.
A Spanish/Japanese publication known as MangAnime has released what they say is a confirmation of new Dragon Ball Z episodes due to the success of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
Update: Confirmed fake. As expected this was nothing but speculation. The magazine that reported this is actually created by fans which originated from South America. That’s not to say there won’t be new Dragon Ball episodes in the future, we even have Dragon Ball Kai (Buu Saga) to look forward to.
Note that this is not 100% confirmed and is currently just a rumor. Thoughts?
New Dragon Ball Z books known as the Chōzenshū 4 (Super Encyclopedia #4) and Chōgashū (Super Art Collection) have been released in Japan today. They contain a lot of old material from the original Dazenshuu but also includes new drawings and material from the DBZ series such as Battle of Gods artwork. Check out a few scans below which include a new shot of Goku as a Super Saiyan God. Follow this link for more scans.
We recently posted the raw full version of this new crossover anime special featuring characters from Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Toriko along with a portion of it with English subs. I felt that a full English subtitled version deserved it’s own entry. Watch it here!
Robot Underdog has released their 4th (4 of 7) photo for their upcoming live action Dragon Ball Z movie project. With this new photo we get another glimpse of Adult Gohan (which is Future aka Mirai Gohan, another hint at the movie’s storyline) along with another character seen in the background (perhaps Vegeta?). We have been covering this fan project just as we did with Dragon Ball Z : Saiyan Saga. I advise everyone to follow them via their official website for all the latest updates. Once all seven photos are released they will announce the exact project they have planned.
Robot UnderDog has released the third photo for their upcoming live action Dragon Ball Z project. It is a picture of (assuming) Goku performing a ki blast or perhaps the Kamehameha. They also explain a few things about their project, check out a quote from their blog below the new picture.
This photo is #3 out of 7 that we will be releasing. We appreciate all the support and feedback that you all have given so far and we look forward to continuing our journey as we lead up to the announcement of our live-action project. We will be announcing our plans on the 7th photo. We cannot tell you too much at this time but we’d like to clear up a few things. Many of you have been asking if we are doing a trailer or trailer series and the answer is no. Our live action project will be an actual project – not a teaser or series.
Additionally – the 7 photos released are not related to the story line that we will be doing for our live-action project. More details will be released soon on that. Until then – we hope you’ve enjoyed the photos thus far and we appreciate all your support.
A team known as Robot Underdog have announced a new project of theirs in which they will attempt to make their own approach to live action Dragon Ball Z. It is currently uncertain on what plans they exactly have, but they did release two photos showing off a live action version of Adult Gohan and Goku. New photos will continue to release until they announce this live action DBZ project. We will keep you all updated on their progress, but until then here are two really nice looking pictures.
Here’s a quote from their photographer via his website.

They have stated that a new Dragon Ball product was to release early 2013 and also hinted at the Dragon Ball Dragon Box. However, they removed said release from their update as if it was a mistake.
UpdateThe news editors at FUNimation confirmed this is a fake.
