New Dragon Ball Z Kai Details

March 26th, 2010 | 3 Comments »

Daizex has provided some supposed new Dragon Ball Z Kai details for when the new Z series airs on Nicktoons. Note that these details comes from a friend of theirs that is said to work with Nicktoons and is not official confirmed. However, this new information is not all that unlikely, so I would say it is legit. It was said that the television premiere of DBZ Kai will happen on May 24th 2010 (a week after the home video [...]

Akira Toriyama’s First Impression on Live Action Dragon Ball

March 24th, 2010 | 2 Comments »

In 2002 Akira Toriyama told the Hollywood Reporter a bit on writing Dragon Ball and also Hollywood adaptations of comics/manga. “I have always drawn my manga with the desire to create something unique to comics, something that can only be expressed in the form of comics. I felt that if I didn’t do so, the reason for the existence of my comics will become weak. But recent movies have surprised us by entering such territory that used to belong only [...]

Early Rumors on Live Action Dragon Ball

March 22nd, 2010 | 2 Comments »

Old IGN reports stated several interesting and promising rumors for the live action Dragon Ball movie. These were all reported back in 2003 and will now be included in this new edition of our classic news articles. The first report was that the film was initially planned to be four movies. Not only that but each movie was supposed to be over 3 hours long (something I originally expected to be done when it came to a live action DB [...]

Dragon Ball Z Kai Nicktoons Commercial

March 18th, 2010 | 10 Comments »

The first U.S. commercial for Dragon Ball Kai (DBZ Kai) has surfaced online. By the sounds of the trailer’s music, it is possible that FUNimation could have dubbed in their own music again. If they in fact did dub in their own music with DBZ Kai, I hope they used Bruce Faulconer again. But I don’t see why they just can’t keep it original. Anyways, view the new commercial after the break.

All They Need is Seven

March 15th, 2010 | 4 Comments »

Back in 2002, when 20th Century FOX announced that a live action Dragon Ball Z movie would soon be in production, a lot of fan material meant to promote the film surfaced on the internet. Many of this material usually used the quote “All They Need is Seven” in one way or another. The poster shown to the right is where that originated, and that certain piece even showed up in an article at IGN saying it could actually possibly [...]

March 14th, 2010 | 26 Comments »

Ok, I really do not know where this came from (aside from fan material). But it seems a lot of people say Matt Mullins will be playing Vegeta in Dragnball 2 Reborn. Let me clarify this rumor. No one aside from the original cast that signed on to the sequels have been cast yet. 20th Century FOX has yet to even confirm that the sequel is in development, let alone who they cast for it. All this is really is [...]

Dragonball Evolution to Release in Theaters Again?

March 11th, 2010 | 8 Comments »

There have been numerous rumored reports stating that the Dragonball Evolution film will re-release into theaters. However, nothing is neither official or confirmed on this. But seeing how poorly DB Evolution did last year, this could be expected. If FOX does decide to re-release the film, I just hope they actually advertise it and maybe even add in a few cut scenes to make the movie slightly better. But if this does occur then it will prove that they just [...]
