the problem with the movie was it was cheesy… really cheesy… the orgin of dragonball and DBZ was COMPLETLY epic! If they pay attention and really put together a good cast with people that can give that epic feel i’ll be down to support this even. Although the movie was absolutly horrible and idk if they can recoupe.
                                 Hopefully they can i’d like to see a GOOD dragonball movie or DBZ either or. They were both great.

There’s two ways you could go about this whole Dragonbal: Evoution movie.

On one hand you have an opinion like mine, which I would say; Why wouldn’t they just stick with the story line that was given? It was written already, and they obviously knew that there is a show that they are supposed to be basing it off of. I mean honestly if they could make King Kong scale a building, why couldn’t they make a kid have a tail? We all have seen the Magic of CGI. It works wonders! Plus Oozaru was supposed to be the same size as King Kong, maybe even bigger, i’m not entirely sure about that one. Regardless He shouldn’t have been 8ft. tall. I honestly don’t know how much time/money that would have taken, but they possibly could have made it all back, or made a huge profit, if they had just stuck to the story and made it as close to the manga as they could.On the other hand look at it from their prospective. They tried, and obviously failed, to connect with the audience, more or less the 15-18 year old crowd. Trying to build a connection between us and “Goku”. Making him seem like an average teenager that goes to school and deals with life. However the only thing setting us apart is that he can blast someone with a Kamehameha and we unfortunately can’t. And no matter how much you tell yourself you hate Dragonball: Evolution, you still want to be in it. For the sheer reason that you could be the almighty Goku. You may say ‘Oh, this Goku is so stupid.’ or ‘The real Goku would kick his scrawny undeveloped spiky haired ass!’, to which I’d reply; ‘Well no shit Sherlock, but you’d probably still want to be him.’, but there is no denying the fact you’d want to be Goku.

So stop trolling Dragonball: Evolution and just get on with your lives. Maybe Akira will hear you and put a stop to the crappy ass live action movie and make a better one that only he has a say in. Anyways I’m starting to ramble, Dragonball FOREVER! ♥
