Only a few crew members were revealed when this new DBZ movie was first announced (Yūsuke Watanabe as script writer, Masahiro Hosoda as director and Tadayoshi Yamamuro as animation supervisor) along with the following companies: FOX Japan, TOEi Animation, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bird Studio and Namco Bandai. Toei’s main website has now listed veteran Hiroshi Katō as the art director for the upcoming DragonBall Z 2013 movie. He was responsible for the backgrounds, CG animation and scene designs for anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Space Brothers. To check out his work, here are a few pictures of said anime.
