Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that there will be a new movie adapting Akira Toriyama’s DragonBall. This is following the teaser shown on the official Shonen Jump website in which they created a countdown teasing DragonBall with the letter “D” and showcasing Shenlong. More is to be revealed July 14th (this Saturday), so stay tuned! Here’s an official quote.

There have also been rumors that Akira Toriyama himself will be helping with the script.

This new DragonBall Z animated movie has a confirmed release date for March 30th 2013.
