You can now watch the live-action movie adaptation of DragonBall, Dragonball Evolution, here at DB Legends. Dragonball Evolution occurs during the arcs of Piccolo mixed with several sagas from the entire DragonBall series (including the first, the “Goku” saga), though it loosely follows the story.

Dragon Box Z Volume 6 Release Date

Crono According to Right Stuff, the release date for the sixth volume of the Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box sets has been confirmed as July 5th, 2011. The same site also pushed back the release date for Dragon Box volume 5 to April 26, 2011. Right Stuff has been very reliable in the past and usually has items available for pre-order before websites such as Amazon.
New DragonBall Online English Patch

Crono The DragonBall Online Community have recently released a brand new English patch for the PC MMORPG game, DragonBall Online. There are some negatives concerning this new patch though, as it still does not translate the following: skill/item names and effects, monster/NPC names, quest text or player messages in a different language.

DragonBall Heroes at Jump Festa

Crono DragonBall Heroes is a Japan-only DragonBall Z arcade game that uses cards to customize and use your characters in the game via a game board. This unique upcoming DragonBall game was featured at Jump Festa in Japan recently and ShintaCard blog has provided reports and photos from the event which you can check out here!
Akira Toriyama Interview On the Dragon Ball Series

Crono A few months ago, new Dragon Ball guide books released in Japan called, “Extreme Battle Collections.” These guides covered the entire Dragon Ball series, and you can find scans of both of them at Kanzentai. But what was most interesting about these guides was the brand new interview with Akira Toriyama, in which he answers several questions relating to the Dragon Ball manga and anime.

Crono Although it’s unknown why or how 20th Century Fox was going to use this concept in the Dragonball Evolution movie (since the design was never finished), Harald Belker (a concept designer) recently revealed his design of a futuristic helicopter that was meant to be used in the film.

DragonBall Zoukei Tenkaichi Budoukai Site Launches

Crono The official site for the upcoming line of DragonBall figures by Banpresto has now launched. You can check out prototype images of the figures along with plenty of unique site features. If you click on “Tournament Table” via their menu, you’ll get a glimpse of the DB figures by selecting the blocks shown there.
DragonBall Kai Stage at Jump Festa

Crono This special discussion stage will last 30 minutes and it’ll take place on December 19th at 1:00 pm. We may find out more about the recent time slot replacement announcement which will happen in April 2011. Here’s hoping DB Kai will continue and end with the Buu saga. We’ll have more information available this Sunday when the event takes place, so stay tuned.
