FUNimation’s Legend of Shenlong

According to the June 2010 issue of Otaku USA, FUNimation will be releasing Dragon Ball movie one entitled, Legend of Shenlong. It will be an uncut release and it is reported it will be bi lingual. This movie was previously released in the USA some time ago as well (released as Curse of the Blood Rubies).

I wish they would just stick with the name “Shenron”. “Shenlong” sounds like shlong if you get what I mean. I suppose its the more proper translation but still. Its a little pet peev and in DragonBall Evolution it makes me hate it even more. GohAn, ugh…

Anyways I have a version of this on DVD and its not Funi’s dub so it sounds interesting but its like the shortest “Movie” out of all of them and is kind of a strange one to pick since its not really well known, but its still worth a look.

Well Jeff, they picked this one since it is the first DB animated movie. And I believe Curse of the Blood Rubies was done by Ocean.
