SOB even has the eyebrows for the character, haha! He mostly only has TV credits with roles in Mr. 3000 and Tekken, but since he’s not a huge guy out there right now and he’s already done one adaptation, he could be fairly easy to sign into the role, and he looks like Vegeta, to boot! Plus, having an Asian Vegeta would help give this film some credibility among fans after the whole Justin Chatwin fiasco, not that it matters a whole lot, to me. Just saying it would work.

Yeah he could work. I just wish FOX would either say they are making the sequel or canceling the whole project already. I read somewhere that FOX has rights to make DB films until 2014, but that probably is not true.

Well, WB has until a certain date to make a new Superman movie, or they’ll loose the rights to that, so it could be the same kind of deal, which would explain why DBE seemed so rushed, although I still blame the editors for that one.

Is it really going to take that long to get the special here in America?? Damn, I might just have to move to Mexico… I’ve been collecting DBZ for over 14 years now, and it drives me nuts to think there’s something out there that I can’t get my hands on right now!

As for Tasunara’s photo, I must say that I personally do not want an Asian Vegeta. My best friend actually asked me when we were driving home from seeing Evolution “Why was Goku a white guy?” And I simply explained it by telling her “Because he comes from outer space, so it makes sense that he isn’t going to look like other people here.” Consider this if you please:
In the movie Bardok:The Father of Goku, there is a scene where Bardok rushes past the nursery where baby Kakarot is. He sees the nameplate under his son’s bed and reads it. Doesn’t it seem odd in the Japanese version of the movie that the alien writing would just happen to be spoken in Japanese when it is a style of writing not even used on this planet? Think about it. They could of made up a word for the alien writing, but instead they choose to mix the two. So by rights, a Saiyan could look like any race if you keep this in mind, since there is a mix of the two there. Sure Japanese is obviously the first idea that pops into one’s mind, as it was made in Japan, but hey, we don’t know what a real Saiyan would look like anyway. However I would’ve been alot happier if Kakarot’s character had a tail in Evolution.

Uhm, no? It will release in 2011 over there. And seeing how we are seeing Kai before they are, I am sure we will see the special first as well.
