About a year back James Marsters told 411 Mania that the sequel has been green lit. This year he now says he has yet to hear any official word on the sequel to Dragonball Evolution, but hears rumors they might start up again.

I hope that means a no. Every other person involved in that movie basically destroyed their career. Luckily James was already popular and accomplished before DB:E.
Fans won’t be tricked twice so if a sequel somehow did get made it would most likely make even less money.

Uhm, it opened at number two in Japan, number one in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and South Korea. *facepalm* zomgwtfbbqonesnoob!111ones
And until you prove to me that you have been to Japan, grabbed a ticket stub and showed it off stating how much exactly a ticket to Db E cost, you got no case. Plus movie tickets are expensive of hell in America anyways, usually around 10$ a ticket did you know that huh huh huh?
My point is that it did much better when it premiered over there, I’m not talking about total gross revenue. What number was DB E when it premiered in the states? Oh that’s right, number 8. Did you even bother watching the world premiere live? avenged(Quote)

First off I have friend who saw DBE on opening night in japan and he will admit out loud that it cost is 20 dollars (in our money) Dbe tanked worse out there then here
