i hope they dont give chris sabat every role, theirs only so many ways he can change his voice

Yeah! We still got Schemmel and Sabat! The new voice actress for Bulma seems like the most dramatic change for me.

What in the WORLD is going on at funimation??? why would you change Voiceactors for key characters that have been around for so long and have done such phenominal work?? A few of my faves havent even been cast in anything in ages yet Rial and Clinkenberid have been in just about every new show?? and now they are replacing Vollmer, Hebert and Nadollny?? I know that there has to be a reason for this becuz it just doesn’t make any sense!! Did something weird happen when funimation changed over to some new owner?? are they cutting back or something? Anime fans are SERIOUS about this stuff. Obviously funimation ISN’t!

yeh seriously! And what about getting hebert for ox king but not for Narrator?? And why didn’t they get Stephanie Nadollny back for her amazing voice as GOHAN?? I met her at a con a few yrs ago and she is one of my faves! What in the world is goin on at funimation these days?? it was a;ready overkill with sabat voiceing so many characters but now they cant even get the key ones cast in just ONE role??? The ones they mastered from the beginning? Are you as mad as me?

yeh they overcast him alot. I heard he was directing a lot and was casting all of his friends. I have a cousin that lives up there and worked at Funimation for a few yrs and he told me that there is politics like crazy going on at the stuido. I am really upset about this – DBZ is my LIFE and now I hear this new casting??? I know the other actors are around and could do the dubs even if they have to travel to get there… what say you?

What a joke. I guess funimation doesn’t care much about dbz anymore. Seems like they put together a cheaper version. It didn’t even bother getting all original cast. I will not be buying this one. It is never the same when you change actors. I guess this version confirms that the series is dead.

You are right Sammy. DBZ is DEAD!!! At least I will save some money by not buying it. end of an era…

You guys have to remember that FUNimation has greatly improved their performance since they first dubbed DBZ.

I can’t beilive there changing the voice actors. I like all of them and for them to change it after all these years. I mean what the heck I love how their voices sound. Especially Gohan. But why change the voices.

I wish they would change gohans voice back to the other girl, this new one makes him sound like a bigger wimp!!

I agree, I despise Gohan’s new dubbed voice.
