Movie Player reports that James Marsters is currently involved with the sequel to Dragonball Evolution entitled, Dragonball 2 : Reborn. Here is a translated quote from that website.
James recently participated in the series “Lie To Me and The Super Hero Squad and is involved in the sequel Dragonball 2: Reborn, where he plays the role of Piccolo.
Note that it is only a rumor that should be taken with a grain of salt. They might just be re-reporting exactly what IMDB has already informed us (and as stated in the last post, IMDB is not very reliable). 20th Century FOX is keeping the whole sequel talk hush hush at the moment.

First off this post has nothing to do with IMDB. Secondly, the actors pages at IMDB were recently updated to show the film is in development. And learn to read please, I clearly said they have not been reliable in the past. And I would not post news if I did not think it was legit or at least worth posting, you obviously don’t know what this site is about. Don’t state the obvious about the Dragonball Reborn page being up at IMDB, I probably knew about that long before you anyways. But it would seem these other websites are just now updating their information on the sequel. James Marsters has mentioned several times the sequel has been green lit and its ok to say so.
Justin Chatwin revealed the script is already written and is entitled Dragonball Reborn.

I really enjoyed your youtube video guy. But your slandering bullshit needs to stop. If I were to make anything up, it would be done in a much better fashion than some random articles (that I listed as rumors anyways dipshit) and IMDB sources. You have no clue how long I’ve been providing news on both Evolution, its sequel and Dragon Ball anime in general. So you would not know what sources I exactly look through.
And about this blog making money. Get fucking real, if I wanted it to make money I would not place 3 lousy adsense ads. I would have it filled up with nothing but ads from the top paying companies.

Although I was not all that impressed with the first, I do agree I would like to see a sequel. Why? Well because I am well informed that FOX did not want to even deal with Dragon Ball and go straight to Z, film wise. I pictured Evolution as only a prologue of the characters to setup for Z. But they did not do the greatest job in setting them up (especially by changing so many aspects). But I would still enjoy a sequel none the less. avenged(Quote)

I say they make another one because…I feel like WE need it. The first one was OK. BUT….they try too make it too REAL…an it should have been more fantasy. that whole movie should have been special effects. the actors are ok but the next director should ask more feeling from them {IF them even make another one}. And to have SOME NOT ALL but some similarity to the cartoon that and SOME lines from the cartoon {music too} add a little piece of your own identity an that it so don’t change to much. Sooo IF {FOX} is looking to make another one look at the cartoon an take what you need to get an idea. but to make alot of money off this movie your going to have to make it so the people how grew up watching it can connect with it. and the new generation will follow. more fight scenes!!! And if your going to end the movie with two characters fighting like {chi-chi an Goku} you should have show both of them run at each other then showed the shadows on the wall then used special effects and made a SWEET ending. Dragonball: Evolution wasn’t bad at all, it was actually decent. No one in this world can make a perfect Dragon Ball movie. Dragonball 2: Reborn is just a rumor, I don’t believe it at the moment, but I hope there will be another live-action movie of the anime series.
