Dragonball Evolution Hits Early
January 31, 2010 in Dragonball Evolution by avenged
It would appear that Dragonball Evolution has hit the TV set a week early. Cinemax is now showing the film at various times today. So I think it is now safe to say that this film is no longer making any revenue. According to The Numbers, Dragonball brought in a total gross revenue of $62,880,241. With a domestic theater revenue of $9,362,785, international theater revenue of $48,865,675 and total domestic DVD sales of $4,651,781 (international sales is unknown at the moment). Please note that the domestic DVD sales could be much higher since it is only an estimate given during a certain period of time. Another factor that could mean sales are higher than the estimate is that the Blu-ray sales are not included.

Thus it made more than twice its budget… probably much more since the international DVD sales are probably far above than domestic sales (this considering at the theater revenue).
I’m honestly expecting a sequel looking at these numbers…
(To Avenger: since this is my first comment in here I want to congratulate you for your work on this blog.)

Thanks Senzu_Bean. And yeah the domestic DVD/blue ray sales are probably actually higher than domestic theatrical sales. And with international sales thrown in there, it probably made almost as much as it did in theaters.
