I’m a fan and I would like to see another Dragonball Movie made as well as many other fans. Some fans from the show don’t want to see a sequel, but they are still curious like Nelson. If Nelson & them wasn’t curious they wouldn’t come to DBLegends to stay updated. Nelson I want to see the movie done right or I’m not gonna waste my time. DBE did prove a Dragonball movie can be done, it may not been 100% faithful to the anime, but it showed it is possible.

Hopefully we will get a Director who wants to make the Sequel 200% faithful to the anime & manga.
Why do I say 200%?? Because I want the Director to know he can make the movie better then Akira’s vision of the show. Tim Burton & Christopher Nolan vision of Batman was better then comics for me. Dragonball Z is a masterpiece from The Saiyan Saga to the Cell saga. Akira gave up on Dragonball when he made the Buu saga. I want a Director so good he can turn the Buu saga into a masterpiece. I want him to be so Hype to work on the Saiyan saga!!
The Anime is so Explosive and Violent and takes it’s time to tale the story of it’s characters and that’s what I expect from the Sequel….

Corey: I think Chatwin will be more buff in the seaqual if there’s gonna be one. But he will never have the body that could compare to Goku even if he takes steroids and goes twice a day in the gym, because of his structure (his body is to small).

Jeff : Jeah Terminator: Salvation shouldnt be there, if you ask me the movie is one of the best of the Terminator movies (except Terminator 1 cause there is ARNOLD, and its te FIRST! ).

FOX dont give a shit about DB, they saw that there are MANY fans of DB series like US, so they made a movie for 30million $ and didnt give a damn how it turns out, they knew the fans will go see it no matter what (If it wasnt for Marsters and Chow Yun Fat the movie would be torn appart). This is not the Dragonball we should protect, we (atleast me) still protect the DB (Z) series-commics, but any other stuf made by a man that didnt READ or SAW any of the DB series… Why should we protect that? it just has a name in it. We must show FOX that we dont like our BEST cartoon to be joked about. Chatwin can have the body of Goku my friend…. Goku wasn’t always Like Arnold!! Goku was skinny like Bruce Lee in the original Dragon ball series. However his body was toned out like Bruce Lee. Akira took his time telling the story of Goku…. Goku showed us that anyone can be in good shape if they train hard. I would like to see Chatwin with a Six pack and large Biceps like Goku had in the Saiyan Saga. That would be pretty cool and it will attract alot of the hard core fans.

It took me 2 months to get a six pack with, No help!! All I did was run One mile a day and do 500 jumping jax in one day…. I maybe skinny, but If I can get a six pack then Justin Chatwin should have no problem getting one. I use to have a big belly!! Until I excersie and I let my body rest twice a week, I also ate healthy and prayed!! Justin has more money than me, so he can use the equiptment at the YMCA or go to Gold’s gym…. I don’t have that option!! I have to use what’s in my house or outside….

I didnt say Goku has Arnolds boody, cause he DOESNT!
I said that Chatwin cant get the similar body like Goku because of Chatwins STRUCTURE (HIS BODY IS TO SMAL), hes body is like a 10 year old, so he can train 10 hours a day, 6 days in a week for 10 years but he wont have Gokus body, he will be buff I didnt say that, but his body is too SMALL for Gokus role. Look at the end of DBE when he goes to Chi-Chi, you will see how small his body is. And you cant get bigger body by training, its just genetic.

Yes Chatwin does not have the body of Goku. But some of you are forgetting what Hollywood does. Ofcourse FOX can only use decent effects/computer cg when they quit using props from some college. Speaking of which, that fan film, The Hero of Time, was better than DB Evolution, then again it was a independent film made by fans.

DBE has many flaws, If you compare it to the anime. Dragonball is such a Masterpiece, however it did have errors. It was the Directors job to destroy those errors & flaws. Not make more!! However James Wong did prove a Dragonball Z movie can be made. There are so many good moments in DBE that gave me goosebumps. Seeing Chatwin bring Goku to life was soooo cool, However it should have been violent and EPic like the show.

Dragonball movie can be done by anyone! FANS made batter movies of DB than DBE. The director of DBE did destroy the DB errors but made them allot more. If Avatar can be done and Clash of the titans, why not Dragonball? I never had any doubts that dragonball movie cant be done, If the movie ”The One” was made 10 years ago and was AWESOME, DB should ROCK THE DRAGON!
I rather see actors that doesnt look like DB characters but have the vibe of them (like Roshi), than to se Chatwin that took the role much more seriously.

The supporters had to beg for a Directors cut. We also had to beg for a long runtime and other small things that should have been required to make the movie. Anyone who has seen the show will tell you How Violent Dragon ball is. Dragonball is filled with Action!! Every DB fan imagine the movie to be Super Long and violent…. James Wong didn’t capture that, he made a short DB film. It’s like he didn’t care about Akira’s Vision…. If he did care about his vision he wouldn’t had to keep doing reshoots. This caused him to rush the film. Tim Burton changed Batman, but he made it 10x better then the comics. I seen alot of fan films that were more like the show, but I never seen a Fan film that is better then Dragonball Evolution. DragonBall Evolution is the best piece of live action Dragonball film work to date, However when you compare the story and action to the anime it is not the best. If DBE was more like the show, it would have been a Masterpiece….

Holy HELL it’s been a while since I checked up on here. I thought news of a sequel was dead, and we’d have to wait A LONG TIME for another DB movie, but I’m glad at least a rumor’s posted up to get us excited. I give props to the first film, setting up the world and all, but nobody saw it, so it doesn’t matter, and I don’t see how it “killed the franchise.” Boy, if I had a nickle for every time I heard, “Hope it doesn’t turn out like Dragonball Evolution”, boy I’d be the richest mofo on the planet.
At any rate, I’m shocked at how people freak out over something as simple as a movie. It’s like you all need something to bitch about or you’ll die. Eh. Oh well. I keep bitching and I’ll be no better than them.

Hmm seems like Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum will start in a pilot episode of something called Shameless on Showtime. Emmy plays some 18 girl named Fiona and Chatwin plays some car thief that has a thing for her. Long story short, if they are working on this together then it is possible something else is planned as well. Either way it seems DB Evolution started their TV career, lol!

Dragonball was a big failure in the boxoffice domestically, making just under 10 million dollars, besides that it has made tremendous outside the united states. I think a sequel is definently possible, well i think its actually happening, because the actors such as justin chatwin and emmy rossum dont have any permentent roles to play according to thier imdb profile. I think they are going to look for a new director, the original release for the film is meant to be early 2011, but as the overseas boxoffice was producing impressive numbers, they though of releasing it in 2010. Then as soon as it released1in america, we didnt hear from them again except from James Marsters, which he confirmed a Dragonball sequel on its way. So i think they are going to release it in 2011 or end of 2010, and those whos interested in the sequel, dont worry, the sequel is definently coming, as the movie made profit, not much, but a little,
