A anonymous user sent us an e-mail stating some rumors going around about the sequel to Dragonball Evolution will begin filming sometime in 2010. There is no actual reliable source for this information just yet, so only take it has a rumor. It was said further information will be available either by the end of this year or sometime in Januray. We will shed some light on this if we get any confirmation from FOX or anyone else that is reliable. Don’t get your hopes up just yet. And if I must say, if they do film a sequel I really hope they treat it much better than what was done with DB Evolution.
If anyone knows anything else about this, please share your information in the comments. But for now, it is all just speculation.

Hmm seems like Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum will start in a pilot episode of something called Shameless on Showtime. Emmy plays some 18 girl named Fiona and Chatwin plays some car thief that has a thing for her. Long story short, if they are working on this together then it is possible something else is planned as well. Either way it seems DB Evolution started their TV career, lol! avenged(Quote)

I dont need them to stick to ORIGINAL DB, well it has to be more like DB than something else. But they can change things, actually they must change things, cause you cant make movie the same as cartoon. But what theyve done with DBE….. for 5 year old kids (and Corey
) and the story is made like in 1 day. There are so manny mistakes in it, and I would really hope they make a seaqual-REBOT like Hulk did. It could be about DBZ but not the continuation of DBE.
Goku doesnt train in DBE, if hed TRAINED the movie would be MUCH batter. In every fighting movie the main character trains but in DBE…. its just stupid, like I said for kids and story made in 1 day. DjiNN(Quote)

actually the reality is Dragonball Action movie will always be RUINED by The Viewers Perspective even though fans didnt like it. 85% fans didnt like it. by the way I cosplayed Goku from Dragonball Evolution the comment of the people around me is “WHY YOU CHOOSED GOKOU IN THE MOVIE WHY NOT IN THE ANIME INSTEAD? WE DONT LIKE GOKU IN THE MOVIE AND THE MOVIE IS NOT GOOD” thats the only negative comment i got. but 1 GUY shout out “YOU RAPE MY CHILDHOOD”

Dragonball was a big failure in the boxoffice domestically, making just under 10 million dollars, besides that it has made tremendous outside the united states. I think a sequel is definently possible, well i think its actually happening, because the actors such as justin chatwin and emmy rossum dont have any permentent roles to play according to thier imdb profile. I think they are going to look for a new director, the original release for the film is meant to be early 2011, but as the overseas boxoffice was producing impressive numbers, they though of releasing it in 2010. Then as soon as it released1in america, we didnt hear from them again except from James Marsters, which he confirmed a Dragonball sequel on its way. So i think they are going to release it in 2011 or end of 2010, and those whos interested in the sequel, dont worry, the sequel is definently coming, as the movie made profit, not much, but a little, DBUMZI(Quote)
