District 9 had a budget of 30 million that movie was great movie. its not about how much money you have for a movie its about how can you make a good movie out of that budget. G joe and Transformer had big budgets but they both was not great too.

they wont be a sequel anytime soon or at all cause the cast most likely will not return to do another movie cause DBE has been poorly recieve worldwide.

I expect the franchise to be treted with respect at least a 100 mill budget and ideally over 150.

Well when a sequel is made, they don’t always rely on just profits. If FOX wants another sequel and wants to spend more this time around, then they will. It is good news (only if you want a sequel) since FOX actually made a profit from this film.

So it was actually around $30,000,000
So that means it made a 20 million profit!! Enough to make a sequel….

This is good!! Very good news, but I wanted to hear James talk about the sequel and what’s instore for us.
