Well when a sequel is made, they don’t always rely on just profits. If FOX wants another sequel and wants to spend more this time around, then they will. It is good news (only if you want a sequel) since FOX actually made a profit from this film. avenged(Quote)

District 9 had a budget of 30 million that movie was great movie. its not about how much money you have for a movie its about how can you make a good movie out of that budget. G joe and Transformer had big budgets but they both was not great too.
