As discussed in the comments, rumors are going around that there is a leaked copy of a supposed directors cut of Dragonball Evolution. The user that posted about it on YouTube claims one of the versions of the film has an alternate ending and beginning. The other supposed version just has the deleted scenes added in and uses the ending song from Dragon Ball Kai in its credits, so that one might be a fake (although there are a few extra scenes not seen in the original). But the possibility of a true Directors cut version of the movie is likely to release. We will keep you posted.

the version that u can download now just has the 8 deleted scenes, but boy does it make it better, the film flows a lot better the scenes also have background music so it doesnt seem out of place. i really hope fox releases the directors cut that all of us want to see mamow(Quote)

The version is the directors cut. But what most people don’t know is there are 3 versions of the movie. The first one has a different beginning and ending, that one was not the directors cut. The second one was the one the director decided to release. The theatrical release is the one the studio (FOX) decided to release. Fox messed up the order of the scenes, among other things.
I love the directors cut a lot better!!

Because the ones I posted could have been easily made and/or from another film.
And you can tell throughout the movie that the music does not transition correctly from scene to scene. Take for example the Bulma vs Mai/Roshi vs Piccolo scenes. avenged(Quote)

Why in order for it to be a directors cut to you it has to have scenes you’ve never seen before. And the film was put together the way it was originally supposed to be. they are not going to get the Orkestra together for a version that is never going to be released. that would cost a lot of money. I’m a little insulted that someone would think that they could pass this off as a “Directors Cut”. Nothing more than the deleted scenes added in correct timing and order by some fan and a few scenes rearranged to make it look different. Its a shame that false hype is STILL being made. I didnt watch the whole movie again, I just searched for deleted sceens and extended ones. The sceens wore cinda good, but some of them wore better not to be in the movie, like Goku lifting car… And car says: ”step away from the viacle, or your picture will be sent to poliice station…”. The movie for me is still not good to be called DRAGONBALL.
I think its a FAN made movie, because the new sceens have diferent quality and in the end when the credits starts the Draonball anime music begins. ( I dont think FOX would ever do such a thing)
But Im grateful that I could see the new sceens.

Yeah the one that can be downloaded is a fake. But that doesn’t rule out a true director’s cut sometime in the near future. There is a reason why I filed this under a rumors…

Anyways, we all know that there is a different fight scene between Goku and Piccolo that was redone last October to the current fight scene. There are also several other scenes that we saw throughout production of this film that never made it to the final cut.

HEHE… yeah you can tell its FAN made, but I like it (well done the autor of the directors cut) I knew that FOX doesnt have time to deal with dragonball. Z edition was cinda surprising but directors cut… Dragonball Evolution didnt do so well like TITANIC so I dont see why would they make a directors cut.
