I knew that Goku has killed Gohan in the anime (with Oozaru form). But I dont mind King Piccolo killing Gohan in the movie, I just dont like that Goku hasnt TRAINED atoll and managed to beat PICCOLO, that killed Gohan EASELY. In the begining of the movie Gohan BEATS Goku. When Goku meets Roshy he didnt trained him, well Goku did stand on his hand and tried to punch an orange with his other hand ( They could have atleast give Goku some havy clothes, or went into GHOST&TIME room where he would have plenty of time to train). He trained more with Grandpa Gohan but he could defeat Piccolo at the end?! HOW IS THAT POSIBLE?!!? How will Goku fight Raditz in the SEAQUAL?!!!

DJIN: AND FOR ALL INFORMATION in the MANGA the ONE that KILLED GRANDPA GOHAN is GOKU(oOzaru Form) and yes its TRUE. goku killed his grandpa GOHAN.

thats why Kami sama & Roshi knows about it thats why they dont want to open up that kind of topic to goku.

DjiNN: well i did like the movie and me too i get much of argue when ever i defended the movie and everyone i talked about it they didnt like the movie. I WATCHED IT x2 in Theater and x3 in DVD already. IM a supporter of this movie even though some of the story really riped the dragonball specially when piccolo killed gokus grandpa and Oozaru goku is just a servant for piccolo its really annoying and specially the stunts are kinda obviously looks fake specially the scenes from tournament and chi vs chi. HAIIIST actually i cosplay GOKU from the movie (IN ASIAN VERSION!!) check it out

I agree with Tasunara!! Dragonball Evolution is a must have if your a fan of the anime or manga.
Sure it doesn’t follow the anime exactly, but it was a Great movie. There is plenty of time to make up for that in the Sequel. DBE did alot of things that alot of movies are scared to do. It showed lots of energy blast and fast pace fighting….
I’m defiantly getting DBE on Blue-Ray
I’m going to watch Goku (CHatwin) do the Kamehameha over and over again.

I defended the movie the whole time, everyone was saying that the movie sucks but I went into argue with them, because its a DRAGONBALL movie, so it cant SUCK (I thought). I am from Slovenia, so we didnt get DB in theaters, so I waited to watch it on my computer. And I didnt want to watch the CAM version so I wouldnt spoil it, so I waited for a DVDrip version. After so long I saw the movie… The first half was I guess OK but then they started to rip the EPIC movie apart! I am still LAUGHING seeing Chi-Chi train at the end ( you have to see it again). I would have liked the movie just if Goku would have TRAIND more! He trained more with grandpa Gohan (that beated Goku easely) than with Roshy, but he still managed to defeat Piccolo… ow jeah and Picollo kiled Gohan in a second. This is just one reason why it sucked. There wore so much STUPID things, like Dragon was a 3metre long LIZARD… Its a DB movie it should BREAK records and not be rated 3.3 at IMDB and earn just 55 milion$!

honestly i like the movie but when your thinking about the manga the movie sucks but its still a good movie. i think if there will be no other news anymore about whats next for the live action we cant hope for another one. the crew and everyone who made the dragonball movie knows its a failure and 90% of fans didnt like it and people around the world knows that this movie is not good. so why fox will make another DB movie again? even though the next movie will be much more better the mindset of fans is still the movie is suck. AND WHY PEOPLE DIDNT LIKE IT SO MUCH? 70% of them just heard the news that its a bad movie and thats why people also think that the movie is so bad:( so sad

@ Tasunara: Actually, you don’t. I have all 9 seasons of DBZ and the movies. Both season of GT, and will collect the Db season set. However I will not put this with my collection because this is not Dragonball, its and doesn’t deserve to be called Dragonball. If you like the movie, thats fine, but don’t say it needs to be in the collection, because it doesn’t.

Well said, Corey Wilson.
I’ll be getting this on DVD. It’s a great movie, and even if you don’t like it, any collector needs this for their collection as the first attempt at an official live action Dragonball movie.
