i totally agree with Boy.. i don’t hate the film. i’m a super big fan that’s why i care too much of it being liked by everyone else.
hope they can do better next time and show what made db/dbz a legend!

Well it looks like the uk will get advance screenings for Dragonball Evolution on April 8th&9th and it seems to be bookable online and on the phone also with film times check it out.

I totally agree with you VaSh, I am not a hater, I am a lover of DB and DBZ, But come on, this movie deserved more than a $45 million budget. Goku did not deserve to be turned into a girl crazy high school nerd that cheats when he trains. Piccolo deserves more than 10 min. movie time. The fights should be amazingly epic and longer than 2-3 min. I mean I love dragonball but this movie was a mockery of it. I am no hater in fact I was a supporter of a DB movie from day 1… until i saw what they produced. I’m ready for changes to be made with a movie, but i am not gonna sit around and pretend i am ok with the complete flip of the DB storyline. It had so much potential and this is the best story they could come up with.
This movie needs to be rethought out by a new writing team and director. Don’t hate me for these comments, the majority of Japan agrees with this and i know that similar feelings have spread through out many of the DB, DBZ fans. It does not mean I am a hater. I just was disappointed.
