Teruyuki Tsuchida Denies DB Movie Role

Anime News Network states that the Otaku Comic known as Teruyuki Tsuchida denied playing a role in the upcoming Dragonball film.

Japanese comedic talent Teruyuki Tsuchida revealed on the Gokigenyō television variety show on Wednesday that he was offered a role on Twentieth Century Fox’s live-action adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball manga, but he declined the role. He explained that his schedule was too busy to fit the project in. Tsuchida is a self-professed anime otaku, and he makes his fandom part of his comic routine. He made an appearance at the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 premiere event and joked that he just wanted to come to see the anime early. Tsuchida said on Wednesday that he was asked to play a person who gets attacked by the antagonist Piccolo because he held a Dragon Ball.

Not really news, but it does make me wonder what role exactly he would have played.
