Fox’s “Dragonball: Evolution,” managed only No. 8 in its domestic debut, grossing an estimated $4.7 million from 2,181 theaters. Studio had limited expectations for the film, which was narrowly targeted to boys.

This was expected due to the lack of promotion for the film. Box Office Mojo even reports that the film has only made $30,071,834 worldwide so far. Let’s just hope it make enough earnings in theatres to encourage a sequel.

After reading that I suggest that more people(especially ones who want a sequel to this crap) get CAT scans at their local hospitals.
The movie failed because it sucked, not due to lack of promotion.

If a Hollywood (read: American) film-maker even approached the actual owners of this franchise (including Shonen Jump/Akira Toriyama) …they’d probably punch them right in the face the second this trailer opened.

Not only is it an intentional joke, but it is a plainly stated one.

I aplogise, after more research i found somewhere saying he was 12. seems hard to believe im almost certain somewhere in dbz or dbgt bulma says she met goku when he was around 5 yrs old. but whatever, my mistake, i admit defeat lol.

Sorry to say dude/dudette but bulma was 16 in dragonball “well the start of it” so i dont know how goku could be only 4-2 yrs younger.
